Kings performance Rebuilt built engine.
Thank you for those kind words jim,I didn't realise that this thread had been re opened.
A point I've just remembered was that when Fernando kindly offered to have the engine back and pay for shipping and a rebuild,he said he would provide me with photo's of each stage of the build as it happened so that I could post them up on my build thread. That never happened.

No problem Glen, although they are not really kind words..... just my thoughts & opinion on an unfortunate situation.
Any items manufactured or services completed by our company must have an audit trial and some form of QA, specials attendance is given to orders which are high risk/value, it's how any modem business operates.
It would be nice to see some in this instance that's all...

Judging by how the car runs I don't think anything has been changed.I suspect everything was just transfered from the damaged block to the new one....oil pump included because it wasn't a new oil pump that was fitted.
Identical situation to my Urge engine, Glenn, and it's a sickening feeling when alyou get all this 'we've built dozens of engines' stuff.
Being in the U.S. It's all to easy for companies to take your money and run for the hills. The smart thing to do is offer some sort of olive branch, but turning it around and defending themselves / pointing the blame at the customer really is baffling. Hopefully it doesn't come to that for you and it sounds like relations have been good until recently.
I too had a real moral dilemma posting up, I've never done it before but the attitude pushed me over the edge. Ultimately this is a community and its to share info, and as long as you're 100% factual, it allows others to decide if they would choose to do business with a supplier.

Out of 3 people I've spoke to who have dealt with American company's all of them have been spoken to and treated like we are feckin idiots. If there wasn't a 3000 mile Ocean in between us I'm sure there would be some serious arse kicking going on.
I'm not tarring them all with the same brush, it just seems the more you spend with them the more they think your an idiot.
