My redline is at 8600. Close enough to 9k while remaining safe

9200 in 5th gear? Thats a lot of punishment, long pulls like that could make a lot of engines come apart. 9k on a streetcar probably isnt anywhere near that bad.

I've ran my stock AP2 at 8800rpm for 3 years and now my built motor at 8800 no issues.

1. Beehive spring tech. "But above 6,500 rpm, the difference was huge: The new-tech 26918 effectively extended the engine's rpm range, proving to be worth 15 to 36 hp and 12 to 28 lb-ft on top."

AP1 on Pump gas 91. 10K RPM
Running Ferrea beehive springs and retainers from RealStreet.

The beehives do work for high revs but is not ideal for day to day street driving because it puts extra strain on the valve train. It was explained to me by a tech at Ferrea and also one from Supertech. If this is a race car only, then go beehive from either company.

What's the technical detail to this? First time I heard of it.

I have about 30K+ miles on the beehives thus far. Will open the valve cover when I get to chance to check.
