Liquidgsr Laguna build thread
Not sure if you're being facetious; his car is located 40+ minutes from his house, currently.

This build is dragging out quite a bit it seems. It took me 4 days to slap everything into the car and get it driving. Whats up with the super slow progress?
Its a pretty straightforward kit to install, no crazy fab work etc.

Nope not trying to be facetious, just generally curious as to why its a 7 page long build thread for something that shouldnt take this long.
I had problems fitting a lot of stuff since its all pieced together, its not a drop in kit. A lot of the pieces have been modified.I also ended up installing a complete fuel system and like Kyle said its 45 min away so I work on it maybe 2 days out of the week. Good for you with "slapping it together 4 days, but I have a job and a life.
If you read through some of the build you would have got all that. Thanks for your .02 though.

I was genuinely curious, I didnt have time to read through 7 pages of build thread since you know, I have a job and a life. People are so touchy on S2KI. Anyways Good Luck!
Not touchy, but you came off sounding pretty cocky. I'm just saying it hasn't been a simple turbo install. Ended up blowing up and just been trying to do it right.
I am sending out the turbo to ATP to get iconnel wrap and call it a day. Expensive but my friend said either get it coated now and pay to get new wires later when they melt or just do the iconnel wrap and never have to worry about it.

Sall good man everyone has opinion. Lets not get this build off topic.
Soooo thanks to Hurricane Sandy and closing the government, I am sleepin over my friends house and working on getting this thing done.
Send out the exhaust housing tomorrow and still waiting on my charge pipe to be fixed. Hoping to have it done by this weekend and the just slap the turbo back on and the custom Ptuning charge pipe and tow it to the shop to get dump tube and down pipe/exhaust done...the tune. I'm going to just have the shop deal with any kinks that may need to get worked out. Fingers crossed.

Back on topic. I wonder if they'll close the gov't tomorrow as well; I'd like a 4 day weekend
Hopefully the rain won't blow into the garage.
