Are you driving the turbo'd S from CO to FL for tuning or just a plain 'ol roadtrip?

The only thing I can suggest is make sure you have plenty of shielding in all the right places. Especially around anything electrical. If you have EMS you may want to have your fans kick on at a lower temp. I recommend a lower temp thermostat from Mugen or Spoon.

I know our setups are different, but when I'm on the dyno, my car runs on the cool side with a Mugen Tstat and fans set to come on at 169*. My tuner thought I had an aftermarket radiator(I don't).

And the obvious, get a reliable tune.

I've never had a second thought concerning overheating. My temps are always in check

The most I have driven my car is 500 miles in one day with no issues but the temps outside for me were around 65. As with every system being different I do have heatshielding in place on the turbo mani to frame side but nothing covering it. Hope this helps. My water temps are with stock radiator and never go over 199-201
