I've driven from FL to DC a couple times. Just make sure your car is in good mechanical condition and check your fluids (like you should anyways) at every fill up and you'll be fine.

Do a few short couple hundred mile trips before taking this one. If nothing goes wrong on those, it should be fine for a big one. Sometimes it can take a few months to sort out issues with bolts and other parts.
