Yup i agree with Chris, you become a 'boost junkie' I started off with 6.5psi and ended up with 8.1psi - but this is where i stopped.

no doubt it was worth it for me.

If you really enjoy driving the stock car, you WILL enjoy driving it with 50% more power.

I agree, however its a little deceiving, since with a base Centrifugal its only 50% more power at the last 500rpms/redline. Its 10% at 1psi say 3.5k rpm. Then 15%, 20%, 25% so on.... The higher the rpm, the bigger the % gains.

This is true with any centrifugal at any boost set up, higher boost set ups just adds more psi at the same rpms from the faster initial blower speed.

Something else that just crossed my mind was checking over a used kit once you get it or questions you should ask before purchasing?

Origional owner?
How many miles on it?
Any broken or missing parts?
Any issues while running it?
Was the car tracked or dragged?

As far as checking the parts over i think i would be taking mine to a shop that rebuilds them? Ive heard that the bearings must be checked before installing?

If someone has a link to this information that is alrady posted here that would be awesome, search is down

Yeah those are good questions to ask. I think you have them covered. Just need to be strait, I think most members have some integrity on this site so if you voice your concerns you shouldn’t have too many surprises. I ended up with a good complete kit when I got mine a few years ago
