i called inline pro the other day and they told me that it was probably in the tune itself since they did make 350rwhp on a car with a similiar setup and a .48 a/r housing with a 2.5" downpipe also

look how that manifold points all the cyl directly at each other. That just doesnt look right.

I am pretty sure you dont have to notch the frame with the inlinepro manifold unless you go with a 35r series turbo

I have the same problem like that too, every times i hit a 6k rpm the engine just dying out

its because logs flow like shit.... you got to keep vtec off untill higher in the rpm band.

As mentioned above, log manifolds with small turbos really choke off the exhaust. As a result, the optimum VTEC point can be 7000 rpm or more...
Tubular manifolds and big turbos can make more power with VTEC as low as 3500 rpm.
