Maximum psi

I wonder if anyone can explain to me why Vortech V-2 SC Trim
can produce 20 psi on their spec. But when you put on a 3.8 inch
pulley you max the imp speed and only get 14 psi at 9000 rpm.

Where did you get that 14 psi information? This is with a larger than 3.8 inch pulley and shows more than 14 psi on an S2000.

If set up correctly you should be able to reach above 14 psi.

How do you get 20 psi? Their spec says that 14 psi at 9000rpm with 3.8 pulley reach 51158 comp.speed.

There is more to pressure than just a pump. You also need a restriction. A blower that can produce 20psi on some low revving asthmatic engine will register a lot less on a high revving free breathing F20C.
