Well I was going to start on this sooner than later, but stupid Fedex won't deliver the package w/o a signature....

Guess what I work everyday, I don't have the luxury of sitting around waiting for you all to sign a package.

Asked for a re-route to my job, and they said it should be there in the next WEEK, I work 8mins from my house.

omg, I want to kill someone.

That's not Fedex's fault who ever sent the package requested a signature. Now one must be collected. Used to work for Fedex.

I believe you can call FedEx and get the address of their terminal, you can go there and pick it up. Some are open late afternoon. Another option is to have the package sender call FedEx and change to "indirect signature" - you leave a note or FedEx form signed.

Yes, that was my point. It's a waste of wire and typically anything longer than a 12" wire ground from the source is not a good thing for the current flow. It's the same thing as an audio system, you dont want a ground from an amplifier to go all the way back up to the battery or this could cause unwanted noise and bad current flow. That's why no more than a 12" wire ground from the source is suggested in car audio.
That's a common misconception. Current flow will not suffer at all, and will be better if only marginally . Noise is caused by poor installation and routing.

I called them on the phone, got it re-routed (my job is 10 minutes from the house).

Anyway, finally arrived...

Can't wait to start the install...

I'll certainly keep everyone posted.

I canceled the order on the 044 before it shipped.

If the roads are decent this weekend, I'll start then.

Did you guys go with the 17.5 or 20 volt BAB? I think I am going to go this route. Are there any downsides with going with the competition 20V version? I hope to make 500whp on e85. We will see though.

siadam please post up a write up when you done. Are you guys using a specific type of relay? Sorry for the dumb question, I have no idea about electricity.

Here is the relay I bought, and the one Jeff recommended.

$24 bucks shipped.

Got the car home last night, will more than likely start on her tonight.

I'm not sure if I'm going to start w/the fuel stuff, or wait and do the meth...either way...I'll start my post here soon to keep everyone "in the know", lol.

Still kinda leary on the bypass valve, haven't seen anything really clear on that.
