i heard for one pump run the 20amp and for 2 pumps run the 40amp.....
The site I bought it from says this:

The 20 amp Version is for vehicles running a single fuel pump setup.
However, I understand what they are saying, since the walbro draws so much amperage, it needs the 40a to totally max it out.

If so, I will cry

this is a quote from Jeff Evans from a previous discussion

"I plan on using the 40 amp dual pump BAP on dual bosch 044's for this coming season. There is a "competition" version of the BAP that outputs 20 volts as well! Its pretty crazy to hear the pumps running at 17 volts, compared to 12 or 14 volts. I wanted to hear the 20 volt version. "

im almost %99.9 sure that you should be using the 20amp version

Let's hope, b/c if not I dicked myself.

I'd have to unwire all that, then put my 20a up for sale...and then who knows who would buy it, it's not a common part really for Honda guys.

Then purchase the other 40a version and rewire..

I sent Jeff a pm about it, so we will see what he says.

Shftat9k, I am running a Boost a pump on my setup with e85. Output is set at 16.5v and fuel pressure is at 50psi at idle. I am running ID2000s. Plenty of fuel here. I would be curious at what fuel pressure/ voltage would need to be used to accomplish this on the ID1000s. I know the idle will be cleaner for sure. If we had mor time, I may have experimented more with this.
r u running the 20a or 40a version? you have a walbro in there dont ya?

ILoveMYHonda1984 pm'd me back and said he is running the Walbro pump, and I also heard back from Jeff Evans, who confirmed we want the 20a version for a SINGLE pump, and the 40a version is for dual pumps, regardless of model pump.

I'm glad, b/c I was seriously stressing, lol.
