Default My 1st shakdown run with charger 12.8@112

Just want some input on how much faster i can expect out of my current setup when i get everything ironed out.

Finally got my charger tuned and it was running pig rich last night at the drags somewhere around 11.2 to 1 at redline....85 degree heat and humidity

I was running on a known slow track at 1200 ft. elevation and the best i could do was 12.80 @112 with a 2.05 60 ft. on my 35 series/18 inch Volks

Traction is impossible but i am not going to run slicks.

Boost hit 12.5 psi @8500 and my tuner pulled almost 30 degrees of timeing out of it on the top end to kill the knock that the AEM was starting to pick up.....it runs fantastic and i have never heard it detonate on pump fuel yet.....the last time it was on the dyno the belt was slipping and it only held 6 psi to the tune of 314 HP and 193 TQ......once i changed the pulley and tightened the belt we finished tuneing it on the street so i don't have peak numbers yet.....i have a feeling its just way too rich right now.....but my tuner said its needed to keep the knock down on the stock compression....i am not putting a thicker head gasket on it

My current setup is in my sig. below

314hp 193 tq to the wheels and a 12.8 without slicks, is that considered avg with the 4.56 gears in? I do have a question for you though, whats with the ridiculous amount of guages?

And your breaks are nice.

Hey I saw you at the track last night, i was the one with the bone stock silver S2k there (14.7@95 haha). Nice car! You car is running almost idential times as I was in my FD with ~300RWHP and 285/30r18 tires. With some ET streets you should be able to pull low 11s, but as far as on steet 18s, your maxing it out. More power is just going to inflate your traps, not your ET.

the 314 Hp was only at 6psi.......its making 12.5 psi now with a 3.15 inch pully
as far as the gagues.......i just love DEFI BF gages! don't ask

Rxmfn7......i didn't see your ap1 there until you ran in qualifing.....you made quick 16 all motor didn't you?? what place did you qualify in??

don't forget that FWD cars are way lighter than our S2k's....my buddy went 11.8 @121 last night with only 285 hp.

Not sure what place I qualified in, I got a phone call and had to leave after my 2nd qualifying run. There were some quick cars there last night though, I just need to dump some money into my S, its slowness depresses me

Dsgs2k3......when it was all motor he advanced the timing from stock to gain more power and it worked.....but now that it is blown he had to pull the timeing way back everywhere and especially on top end because i am running so much boost on the stock compression
