The GM boost controller and MAP sensor are junk. Spend a little more money and buy all AEM controllers and sensors. You will be much happier in the end.

It's true though.........I've seen to many people have problems with them. If you want to do it right, spend the extra money and buy good stuff. Seriously, the GM boost controller is known for causing real bad boost creep and the 3 BAR MAP is known for failing all together and that's very very bad.

Get the AEM stuff.

I had the GM boost control solenoid and after about ~1500 miles it would no longer control boost. I was over boosting ~16psi with boost set to 12psi in the EMS.

Not good. I didn't blow the motor, but it could easily happen.

Damn that sucks... I was about to order a GM boost control solenoid too. I already have the 3 bar map but it looks like I might have to make some changes.

I don't want to pour any more money into this car!!!
