The beehives have their place in the racing world and they are very good at what they do but they are not recommended for a daily street car. Its best operated when the VTEC lobe is being used.

No real shots of it that I havent posted. I havent put much effort into taking good photos cause the car is a shitbox for the most part haha. Would like some rolling shots from a real camera though after my rear fenders are on for good.

I did take this photo though, went and put 100 miles on it earlier today.

So I got 8XX miles on this thing and havent had to work on it at all, just check the oil and drive it so far. But I'm starting to sell off all my other corolla shit and will probably try and sell this thing or start parting it out later this year to help fund a business. Starting to get cold and wet so wont be able to drive it much anyways. Really sucks the head took a dump when it did I missed most of my chances to get it to the track. I dont know if I want to tune race gas before I try and sell stuff or if I should just leave it be.

Hey Im about to do this conversion in my AE85... how did you resolve the height of the motor? Im thinking dry sump, I dont like the idea of cutting subframes and spacing the subframe up... thoughts?

Ya i know, we'll see what happens. Just depends on what I need for starting a business with a friend and which direction we go at first.

AE85: I cut the subframe and the oil pan, you are gonna have to cut the subframe no matter what unless you go with a dry sump same with the pan. My motor could probably sit about 1/4" lower if I did the mounts again and it would almost clear the hood without spacing the subframe down. The hood rests on the valve cover where it sits right now, but spacing it down a little or shaving the front corner of the valve cover would solve the problem. I didnt use any spacers but using a 1/4" plate probably wouldnt hurt anything, but I wouldnt really want to use anything like the JSP mounts and spacers, just dont like the idea of it either.
