Manifold not gonna work out for me, where the inlet of the turbo is there is supposed to be the headlight motor, and it would be coming out the hood about 3/4 of an in. If the manifold/turbo sell as a pair I might pick up an efr turbo, divided 8374 with internal gate is what I would go with, also kind of depends on when it would ship too.

In other news I made mounted my fuel cell, today I will probably seal up my tubs and next week after the seat is mounted I could maybe paint the interior.

Ya I was hoping it would work since it would mean one less thing for me to worry about finishing. Got my seat though a little bit ago so there is some good news.

Nothing too special but got some more stuff, decided to part with my walbros and doing the in tank setup and bought two bosch 044 pumps and a couple more filters and fittings. Got the fittings and filters in the mail the other day and pumps should be here next week. Also ordered all new fasteners for the valve cover, front cover and oil pan so the motor can be sealed up as soon as they show up. Also got my custom twin disc from comp, so after some sealing happens the motor/trans combo can go together for good.

Laying everything out here to visualize how everything will sit under the car. Ended up short one straight -8 fitting! I forgot about the fuelab inline filter when I drew it out.

Also pic of the clutch, the flywheel is a thick bitch haha.

Finally getting closer now, I may be able to start the engine here soon (just toss on stock header for start up) and if I put the radiator in there I can let it warm up if I wanted. I am thinking of just putting everything together and getting it tuned looking like crap and driving it like that at first. Should be pretty fun to challenge bikes to a race with a shitbox looking corolla

I have just gotten really lazy lately haha, I bought the 044 pumps cause its less work than in-tank pumps and same with the fullrace manifold (wish it fit better). I want to drive the car already so after the motor/trans is together for good its not coming back out unless it HAS to. I might just do a quick rattle can coat of color in the engine bay and interior so theres not exposed steel but that will probably be it.

Well I didnt paint the engine bay, but as I was putting my flywheel on I noticed the fasteners wouldnt fit in the step in the flywheel. So quick trip back to competition so they could find some fasteners to work and while it was gone I got crazy and painted some stuff and started putting things back in the car for good. Updates are kinda back to front from my photobucket.

Painted and undercoated the crap out of the wheel wells, its some rubberized stuff thats supposed to help keep down sound. I add another layer almost everytime I walk past the car, I dont want rocks banging off the wheel wells all day driving me crazy.

finished the mini tubs? and seam sealed, painted and then undercoated the inside and outside to hopefully keep some sound out.

Figured out my battery box, gonna bolt it down and run the cable out the bottom of it.

Got some wheels to roll around on, 15x9 0 offset varrstoens.

Advan AD08's for the front, still need to get some 225/50 drag radials for the back.

Test fitted them on my other corolla as well as some 235/60/15 m&h's. Doesnt look too bad, I think I can run wider tires but have to really bolt my overfenders on the white car to find out.

got my kit

welded mounts onto my 8.8 and took it to scribner welding to get narrowed/straightened and measured for moser axles. Should be picking it up by friday and hopefully my wilwood brakes will be in at the same time for the front. If I can get the axle back friday I can hopefully have it put together saturday and then bolt it in. I got a new cobra diff and 3.73's for it and the bearings should be here today.

I almost feel like its starting to come together now.
