I'm all about this build man. My boy John ran the S2K motor in his Corolla and it ran great in Formula D. Your build is far more in depth than his was so I'm very interested to see the final product! He just took out the S2K motor and put in a built K24 motor/RSX head 12.5:1 CR and ran it this past race. Outta control haha. good luck with this man and I hope everything comes together flawlessly!

That's one interesting build...
Say that again...pretty nice job man, and your work area makes it even nicer.

Jealous of people w/nice garages to work, best of luck.
That is a really clean work area. Wish I had some walking space in my garage...

That looks like a fun build. What do you estimate the final weight will be when you are all done?

Slow: I've seen johns corolla and its awesome, I originally wanted to do a k24 but my buddy had this sleeved block for too good of a deal to pass up.

jb: hoping the car weighs 2300ish, it might weigh more/less I wont know until I start putting it all back together and get my buddies scales over here. I am gonna try and get as close to 100% of the interior back in around the cage. I want the car to be as comfortable as possible. I really want to do a cutout for the exhaust so it will be quiet and sleeper ish. The less I get hassled by cops the better.

Got some more stuff in the mail today, lines and fittings for my oil feed and a T for my oil pressure sensor to go inline. Also a T for my boost gauge/map sensor and fittings to run a -3 line to them. Dont wanna have any barb fittings or rubber hose anywwhere. I think I have enough to hook do my fuel regulator but most likely it and my wastegates will be push lock.

And got my deutsch connectors so the car can be wired up now. Should have plenty of the painless wire now so none of the factory wire should need to be reused.

More parts, not so much work getting done but have almost all the mechanical stuff I need.

Got everything I need for the suspension, everything is new except the lower control arms that I got new balljoints and poly bushings for.

Got my transmission, 05 350z with 60k miles.

And last week mazworx got down on an adapter plate for it, monday they cut the plate and today they test fitted it. Should be here next week.

Adapter for the 350z pilot bearing into the s2k flywheel

No cutting of the bellhousing, they are gonna give me some measurements and competition or whoever makes my clutch can make me a spacer like this one.

Hopefully next time will have some better updates, but was pretty stoked about the adapter plate getting made and wanted to share.

RealStreet, we'll see how it all works out. They seem to have more complaints on the early years for synchros not so much on the power from what I've seen. And thanks for some good pricing on parts, ordered my springs/retainers/valves from you.

Junky, I'm sure we'll see each other around this year. I'll bring the car out to local meets as soon as it hits the road. Look forward to meeting you and some of the other locals "F" owners.
