unless you're building the motor Mase prefers the motor to be 100% stock, no head gasket or anything. 400whp isn't hard at all on the stock motor.

I'm sure if you bought the kit he would just send you a calibration to load in, no need to send him the ECU just to load it in. when he has a hondata option that might be different though.

I already have my AEM 1052U so I'm ready to go if you can wire your standalone AF ratio gauge into your AEM at least for logging that would be cool. I personally love having the wideband built into the AEM. it warms up super fast so tuning startup stuff is a lot easier and it's much more stable compared to when I had my innovate wideband feeding the AEM on my CRX. I ended up getting the UEGO option AEM on my CRX too.

you definitely don't have to have the UEGO option, but used it's only about $100 difference usually, I think it's worth the little price difference.

little delay in the build some bastards got to my car, I was planning on getting an alarm after the dragon trip too. I was inside watching TV, if it had an alarm I would have heard them messing with it and someone would have gotta a Glock .40 cal in their face. oh well, lucky for them, bad for me. fighting with insurance now not to total it and cut me a check to fix it instead. then I can rebuild it to the way it was before.

before...

after...

it's just a friggin hassle, the car was so mint, just a waste. getting a car stolen screws you twice, first from the thieves then from the insurance company. good thing is that the turbo kit wasn't in yet, crappy thing is that it's right before the dragon trip that I've been planning on for 6 months.

Dude, you got hit by some pros... That sucks. I know what it's like to have some ***** mess with your car. Hope to see it back soon. Good luck with insurance. Get an attorney if they won't cover the mods, so long as you have a bunch of pics.

It's a god thing the kit wasn't installed, that would be gone too.

I think Florida has a record for S2k thefts and strips. It looks like the dirtay bastards have taken one apart before, they didn't cut any wire harnesses from the pics.

Dirty SOBs! Hopefully their shop is found when someone with Lojack goes looking for their car.
