well I have my pricing but I'm going to be the first LHD AP2 with the kit. so I'm getting a little different pricing for being the beta tester and bringing my car up to his shop for them to have it be a guinea pig.

I talked to him a little tonight and really it just comes down to the fact that he doesn't know the exact cost yet to mass produce the manifold, downpipe, and intercooler piping. the rest is just off the shelf parts and that's easy to price out. he's got a target price in mind and if he can stick to it this kit will blow everything else away as far as cost and performance.

as soon as I met him a while back when he tuned camuman's car and he said what he was looking to do and at what price I stopped looking at any other kit available and decided this is the kit I want. if you're looking to get any turbo kit out there in the next few months then it's worth waiting until he can set the real pricing, trust me

 

when you call and talk to Inline Pro they consider this the "stage 4" kit. when you go to look on Competition Clutch's site they call is the stage 5. Inline Pro suggested this kit because in their experience the "ironman" and the other one that's similar don't last very long. they glaze fairly easily and they don't use them anymore. I talked to Chris over there and he said that he drives on this clutch in his daily driver and it's fine.

 

Im assuming it should be around the rhdkit price which after you calculate from pounds its like 5600 which is a steal! Damn i wish i lived in florida so i could be a beta

 

ha ha, that price might be a little low since that was posted when the dollar vs pound was a little different.

even though his target price is a little higher than that it's still a better price than anything else out there right now with a tubular manifold and even better than some with a cast manifold. he needs to hurry up already I have a feeling when people see the finished LHD kits and the pricing they'll be lining up for the kit.

 

I wonder if Mase would be open to doing a KPRO tune to help us DBW people out.

funny you mention that, one day I was talking to him on AIM and he was researching all the differences between the non-DBW S2000's and the DBW S2000's
