Chefs, I changed out my fuel pump as well. I bought the Full Blown 340 pump and the SOS wiring kit. My fuse in the kick panel kept blowing out on me and I kept hitting a boost cut every once in a while when going WOT. I think the fuel pump was heating up too much and causing too much draw and was causing the fuse to blow. With the new pump and wiring kit, the car has been running flawlessly and I have not hit any boost cuts, bogging issues, or blown fuses since.

Only hiccup was the grams fuel pump was goin on me on my way down to boca .. When the car got to a little more than half a tank full it would bogg and eventually it died on me ..so got off in Georgia and picked up a airtex 2442 ? I think .from advanced auto . Supposed to be a walbro 255 boxed under different name as I read on another forum ... So kept the tank full every hour till I got to boca and Dident have any bogging issues .. Next day changed the fuel pump in the parking lot of the hotel .. The connectors were different so I had to solder the wires directly to the pins on the fuel pump ..then soaked it with liquid tape .. I still bogg on hard turns but I can run my gas down now .. I need to get a oem fuel filter and put that on the new pump and should hopefully cure the bogging .. [attachment=89018::]

Street mechanics FTW! Swapping out the pump is such a shitty work. Normally bogging only occurs when low on fuel and sharp left turns. Hell, i had to replace my walbro for a fullblown surge tank system to get rid of the low fuel bogging and lateron upgraded to a SOS surge tank due to space/noise issues in my trunk.

Im reading lots of bad things about the grams pump. at least you managed to get 15K miles on it. No other issues besides the pump? re tightening the belt or anything else?
Under normal highway driving, did your MPG went down alot?

Lol the pump wasent that hard to get to cause all my panels were already out from roll bar ... I saw billman before I left .. He unslacked the belt a lil bit.. And thank the lord I went to see him and had the car on a lift .. Found one side of my sway bar bolts disconnected and missing and also all the bolts on my 8.8 diff pumpkin loose .... He reconnected the sway bar with stronger bolts ( mod diction bar ) and took out my diff kit and re torqued the bolts and resealed the pumpkin .. So thanks to him no other troubles while on the road ... But I kept sayin I wish I had a spare belt on me .. I will prolly order one just in case ... And as for mpg .. I ran with my buddy in his 03 Mach 1 stang and when we pulled over for gas I had to put 1 more gallon than he did ...

I believe the stock one was reused. When I ordered the pump no extra accessories came along with it, just the pump in a box.
