My Poor Kraftwerks Experience
A friend of mine, user Habitforming who doesn't post on here anymore.... his kit did ok for several years with low miles and no track runs but it also failed recently. I know he was a proponent of the kit but not anymore.
I think before you move too fast, make a post on the KW kit on Facebook and gauge what people's experiences are. I will be honest though....seems like almost anyone who has installed or used this kit has had trouble except LHT Performance (based in Florida) cars. May be worth the time to call the owner and ask him his thoughts...

My exceedingly annoying experiences with both Rotrex and Kraftwerks are too numerous to post here. It would read like a sci-fi novel about alternate realities colliding in surreal universes. At this time, I urge all readers in this forum to consider any SC system EXCEPT the KW/Rotrex kit. I gave them the opportunity to work this out, provide a documented Rotrex warranty (doesn’t exist!), make good on my broken product, so that I might be able to somewhat recommend their product to others. This has failed, like my POS Rotrex blower.
I am soliciting other’s curious KW and Rotrex experiences on other forums across the Internet. I am in contact with several people who have posted YouTube videos of their failed Rotrex blowers (seized pulleys, snapped-off impellers, etc.), some of whom have had to pay for replacement units—under warranty!
The auto-parts industry is notorious for ripping off car enthusiasts. Many of us are working-class folks, many without college degrees (which helps in writing and formulating counter-arguments, gathering evidence, researching regulatory agencies who help consumers, etc.), and so are taken advantage of financially by companies we trusted in buying their products.
I work with an engineer who was never reimbursed $260 for an engine core he shipped back to a long-block reman company; they claimed that they had no record of receiving his shipment!
We all have our consumer nightmare stories. I, for one, am mad as hell, and I’m fighting this battle on behalf of us all.
Stay tuned, and PLEASE, provide your experiences, and those of others you know.
