I though Shawn would say something about my 14psi on stock motor. But nope he was just impressed and asked what the secret was.

So what kind of numbers would that be on a real dyno?
about 350-360 on dynamics or dynojet. always subtract 50hp from dynopack to get real dyno numbers. especially from church.

I did 385whp (AFRS rich at 10:1) at the Do-it Dyno dynojet the same day all the bolt on/reflashed AP2's were doing 210-215whp. My car was leaned out to 12:1 and did 431whp at Church. I am guessing my car would be around 400whp on that same Dynojet and I will know on September 7th.
can't wait to see results

You cant give it a set number either. Stock AP1s will do about 220-225 whp on the Church dyno. If you subtracted 50 you would be at 170-175 whp. Stock Ap1's will do about 200-205 on Dynojet. It is not a set percentage either as you start to add mods. You will lose more through the drivetrain as you add horsepower but it wont be as much as a set percentage.

These dynos were taken just a week apart in similar weather and at the same time (Morning), this is also the closest dynojet to Church Automotive. I was the first car at both shops. One thing I did notice is that the dynapack seemed to be more consistent. The tuner at the dynojet originally told me that my car made more power on the first pass than the second. However, if you look it appears the dyno was warming up because I did 5whp more on the second pass without any cool down time. Those rollers take a while to warm up. I wish he would have done more than 2 pulls to see if it would have continued to come up. I had read this about dynojets so I asked him while my car was still strapped down and he told me it did more on the first than the second because the intake temps went up. Wrong!

hmmm...i think i'm going to bump mine up to 10psi then keep it there just because i have 4.77s also. what else are you running to accomodate 14psi?
there are a few people with a supercharger setup running over 10 PSI. If you use race gas you can def run more than 10 psi on stock motor and hg and head.

but for how long? i couldve cranked more psi on my old turbo but i was looking for longevity. Just invest in a very good engine management and you'll be just fine. you already have a good setup. i just worry about your tune.

I would think you had a bad experience at Church, because to say subtract 50 HP when using DynoPack is ludicrous. Do some research? DynoPack is new, improved and safer technology than those strapped down versions.
