Need help with Fuel Management CTSC/AC
It will still be a very good street car because its S/C and the way it delivers power.
No more money in maintenance with 9psi vs 12psi. It will be the same car you'll just
have more power. Just a suggestion bro because if you go to 9psi and then go to 12 later its going to cost you more money. I'm sure everyone will agree with me. When I say you always think that will be enough power or OMG I don't want to much power.
But trust me you will. I'll bet you ask any question on this forum and you never get the same answer from everyone.
But if you ask everyone who is F/I did they stay at there original power goal. I'm pretty sure you'll get the same answer from everyone..... NO went with more
Well what ever you decide good luck with it

Jacko is dead on it! Once you go FI you are never satisfied, typically. I'm good for now, but will probably do more changes sometime next year. Go 12 psi pulley, emanage ultimate (keep it so it can pass inspection, can't with EMS) get a good tune and you will have a powerful but still very streetable car. A lot of people are running 500 whp on the street!!
Just a side note. Do all dynopack dynos measure at the flywheel and not the wheels? 390 hp and 256 ft lbs is crazy with just a 9.5 psi vortech, than I saw it was measured at the flywheel.
What is the typical drivetrain power loss on S2000's. Most seem to be around 15-20%. Would that put the Vortech 9.5 psi at about 330whp? I'm just curious.

if you need a tune and your in socal autowave is the place to go. talk to shane and mike the will get you were you need, without ripping u off,and give you a reliable ride. if you want to run a reliable FI you need the stand alone ems from aem. i had fic controller from aem and a Emanagment and nethier ran as percise or consistent as the aem standalone. i have 360whp with a 9lb pullley vortech on my07 DBW because of mike's own engineeered aem harness, great knowledge of the car and tuning for the s2k(all hondas and acuras for that matter)! other shops have magic dynos and read high numbers. i know one guy whent to a "well known shop"(wont name names) and ran 450 on his dyno than ran 390 on autowave. i was in the market for a header and was going to pay 900 for one, and the guys at autowave talked me out of it(that is a honest opinoin and saved me $$). talk to autowave they are very well known for their quality and tuning in the area
.
OK, I just saw the top of their dyno plots and it says "flywheel power" and "flywheel torque". I just thought that looked weird because most dynoes measure at the wheels. Still great numbers though!!
I had my CTSC at 7psi for a couple years and tuned with the VAFC II great. In fact, I am selling my VAFC II because I upgraded to 10psi and the AEM EMS.
My VAFC II still has my 7psi tune programmed into if you're interested.
Good luck!

If you don't plan on running more than 12psi, stock compression will be fine. EMS and 750 injectors will give you plenty of room to grow. Leave the tuning to an expert.
