looking good. nice to see you started to polished that compressor housing up. Im curious to see how those ID2200 will idle and such. Are you going to be running e85?

Thanks Rob yea I just bought like 5 round steel brush bits for the dremel and went at it I started messin things up at the end of the compressor cause my hand was shaking so bad but Im gonna sand blast it probably this saturday. Really cant wait to see how that unit does on the car. I probably will be using E85, but I couldnt remember if you can run oxygenated gas on saturated injectors or not? Who else that frequents this board do you know thats used ID2ks?

Yes keeping the a/c and power steering fo sho

You can use e85 with the ID2000's but you can NOT use any oxygenated fuels like Q16.

Yea I knew E85 was definitely a candidate but I think I was remembering talking to a friend at MA when he said FIC2150s cant use oxygenated fuel either. Since thats the case I might just do C16 but E85 would be more ideal, excluding the fact that theres not but 1 fawking E85 pump within 40 miles of here

I contacted Tony this morning and the injectors went on order over the phone. Thank you a million sir

I did get the compressor housing completely sand blasted, and itbt I just kinda took my time to avoid getting sand inside it. I taped the hell out of the back and taped the hell out of every other hole in the piece as well . I must say after cleaning the inside and out with rubbing alcohol and removing every last sand particle it looks like a brand new unit. Ill get some pics up in a bit.

I spoke with Darius and the remainder of the machine work is finished. I just need to bring him the rest of the motor in the morning, er, a couple hours, and hopefully after the headwork is done the motor will be completely assembled in no more than 2 weeks additional time. Im anticipating it will be cold outside again by the time I get this thing back together
