Thats the same place I got mine, but I just dumped the Mishi fans and shrouds for the SPAL fans.

To make a shrouded radiator work properly you MUST have both fans turn on at the same time.

Other wise when one turns on only about 10-50% of the air being pulled by that single fan is actually being pulled through the radiator; the rest of the air is being pulled backwards through the other fan even if it is not spinning in the opposite direction due to air being pulled backwards through it..

Unless the shroud is divided.

i just want to get more air moving, which will cool my temps a little

actually now i think im going to start with the spal fans

changing radiators doesnt directly lower any temps does it?

is it the way you wire them up for them both to run or is it in the AEM or both?

thermostat> greater flow therefore lower ECT as long as you do not exceed the capacity of the radiator.

Larger radiator will have a lower equilibrium point and will take longer to reach this point due to larger thermal mass and increased heat rejection but again the thermostat is the main controller of your steady state temperatures in side of the block.

You can wire them up so you have two relays ( one for each fan if using spals they pull a lot of current ) that is activated by a signal from the AEM or from a single source such as the fan switch.
Or if you understand diodes you can have both relays turn on by either the fan switch or the AEM but have that signal isolated so it will not feed back in the AEM.

There are multiple ways to wire them up to use the AEM features to get them to both turn on at the same time.

with ethier of these set ups will there be more or less clearance then there is now with the stock fan/radiator between it sand ic piping?

Both of my Mishimoto shroud fans come on at the same time but I didnt have to rewire anything. I have them hooked up through the stock wires like the original OEM fans were and the AEM turns both of them on when the temps get to about 200 deg. Do you think most people only had one fan coming on with the Mishimoto fans and fan shroud and thats why they were having cooling problems? Maybe you can tell them how to have both fans come on with the AEM instead of just one. I'm not sure how my AEM was configured to have them both come on at once but they do. My tuner set it up a long time ago to have both of my OEM fans to come on at once and I just hooked the ne Mishimoto shroud and fans up and they do the same.
