If you don't want to be hassled to get a tune "because it's your DD" then I would seriously question whether you should be looking into FI at all. You won't be able to not be hassled with the budget you're interested in using.

I wouldn't go GReddy... the kit had potential, then they switched from a tubular manifold to a cast one. I think it looks fugly!

I would look into PTuning's kit. I spoke with these guys for about 30 minutes about their kit, at the Import Alliance in Nashville. They were saying $5000 for their kit, tuned and out the door. It looks clean. I can't remember their numbers, and the kits not on their site.

I think they said one of the dudes from Inline is now working for them.

Plus they're in DC too!
