oil pressure loss at idle

when the light turns on the car is at about 300-400rpms. i mean there is only one or 2 of the tiny rev incriments where there would usually be like 7 for 1000rpms. Im getting the tune on monday along with a 3.875 pulley. Im looking foreward to the new boost.

In general, drops in oil pressure are not a good sign. Are you sure the oil pressure is below normal just at idle or is it starting to show lower pressure at higher RPMs as well? What are your idle settings?
It may, as Ya suggested, be more of a tune issue; though it's important to find out quickly. If it's not the idle settings / tune, then the drop in oil pressure is something to take serious and act on quickly.

but you just can't know for sure what is going on via an idiot light.
He needs to connect an oil pressure tester and drop the RMP's and see what true reading he gets.
the tune is all good and stuff but he should check the oil pressure w/ a real pressure tester
My car idles at 1000 rpm. Only time its lower than that is on the starter or if the engine has stalled.
Your car suffers from a shitty idle due to some problem with the fuel injection system or tune. Try adjusting the decel trim or idle air control motor data in the ems.
