Is it okay to cut?
Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone have any tips for buying a used turbo? I found a used Ultimate Turbo kit locally, and I want to know what to look for before I buy it. Is there any way to tell if there is anything wrong with it?
well it still vibrates when i do hard left turns, cause i am guessing the turbo still hits it after the cut out. The vibration is very minimal though. In a scale of 1 to 10.... i would give it a 3.5. And it still vibrates the cabin a bit on low rpms like 500 rpm. I hate how I cant take the car past a certain rpm, but im almost there and then going to go get the tune. oh and for some reason the engine stalls out when i put in neutral once in a while, Not all the time though, but it turns back on and runs fine. It has a base map on it, so i dunno. . Not sure what that is about.
I pretty much have the samething done here, BUT it still has a vibration. I can coupe with it but, just mabey i can get rid of it....
is it safe to cut this part off??? Because the very top of my turbo, where the rubber mount is located. That is where it is connecting on hard turns and at very low idle rpms like 500rpm to 900rpm.

If it has a basemap, thats why its stalling (kinda obvious no, its called a basemap for a reason). They are just bandaids to get from your house to a real tuner, aka you should not be driving around with it.
