The SOS TB is a worthy mod in itself. I picked up more flow across the entire rpm range and the engine is more responsive in partial throttle. It will give you the power it advertises and likely more the higher boost you run. Port the face of the manifold where it mates to the TB to maximize it. Stuff a rag in there to block the shavings from entering the ports, take your hone bit and go to town. Takes 15min.

The SL seems like a nice option at first glance, but there have been too many premature bearing failures advertised in S2ki on these to gain any interest from me anymore. Like the old NV1000 I run, the 1220 and 1200 should recirculate the same way, without tapping into anything, just a fitting where your normal oil drain plug goes. Vortech kits have you tap a separate supply from the oil pan, why i don't know.

If the basic things are done, ie exhaust,TB, lighter flywheel/clutch 12-13psi with the stock motor/good tune 1220 blower should hit 400whp no problem. NV1000 will do it. If you want to insure that you will make more then 400whp then get the 1200.

Go with the A/C w/upgraded heat exchanger option. Leave the fmic's to the turbo guys where they are better served. Typical average boost loss is 3psi. That's 40-60whp you have to try and recoup. When you spin the blower faster to compensate (assuming you have any more room left to spin faster, which you wont if you wasn't to make min 400whp) you build more IAT which defeats the purpose of an efficient system.
