S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Opinions on what should go into a built head.

Any reason why you guys chose what you chose? Name brand wise I mean.

Also, instead of getting full sleeves could I just get by with a block guard? I'll never shoot for 600+ horsepower. Hell, probably never 500+, but I've never built a block before so I don't really know what's good or not in this area.

I didn't have to do any of this on my Supra. LOL.

Also, on majestic, they have diffent colors listed beside the main and rod bearings, anyone know what thats for? Is it changes in size?

500 should be good on stock block and you don't plan on shooting that high so im sure everyone will tell you to keep the bottom stock. if you were shooting for 650+ build it to be safe I guess..

I fully built mine and plan on getting 600whp without worry. I went with Laskey because he is fairly priced and does good work.

Well, I suppose I could leave it stock, but like I said it has light scoring in one of the cylinders. So that will need to be taken care of and I'm sure after it is I'll have to get slightly bigger pistons. Can I even use a stock head gasket with slightly bigger pistons? And so you guys are saying no go on the block guard? I just really want to make sure I don't have any problems. Even though I'm not shooting for the stars or anything, I do track my car. A lot.

Also, thanks for the help so far.

ferrea is better quality. ask anyone. its just a matter if someone wants to put out the money for the better stuff. supertech will get the job done but ferrea is simply better.

i have to agree, my engine builder kinda freaked out on me when i said i had all super tech stuff in my head, hes like get that crap out of there and go with ferrera, I am not going to bc i already have everything supertech, but yea it didnt make me feel good, so i may upgrade to ferrera in the future

Don't use block guard. its slow your cooland down on the car because of the space it has for cooland to travel from the head to the blcok. i ran this before and all i can say was i have overheating issue. i know you track your car a lot too. the block guard will diffenetly hold you down with over heating issue.
