S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Opinions on what should go into a built head.

Ge sleeves are step decked. Something to keep in mind.

No problem man. Step deck is when the sleeves are a bit higher than the deck of the block. Better bite into the headgasket.

So you would say go with Golden Eagle then? Their sleeves also look a little like they are a closed deck type which I would think would be more strong too.

Yeah all my engines have Ge sleeves. Yes they have an upper girdle that is part of the sleeves. I oring my blocks too but only needed on 30+ psi.

Yeah, that's who I'm leaning towards to do my sleeves. They seem pretty stout.

What I'm thinking for the bottom end is Pauter X beam rods and CP pistons at 9.6:1 with the stock head gasket which will bring the CR up a little. From what I have heard they rate them with a 1mm head gasket; the stock is smaller.

I wonder how they are at building the complete block and getting it timed right.

Again, I can't express how much I appreciate the help guys.

I wish I knew what the stock spring rates were that way I'd know if 80lbs is stronger than stock but not too strong so as to stretch the valves. I guess I really have no choice hahahaha.

if 100lbs on the seat causes a valve to break you have awayyyy bigger problems than springs that are too stiff.

I have the 100lb springs in my car.. 15k miles on stock valves that already had 100k on em.. no evidence of anything going wrong as of yet.

generally for turbo cars we put as much spring as possible in there.. think about it, each valve is around 1.5 sq in, with 20 psi of boost you are basically reducing the seat pressure by 30lbs, so your 80lb spring is now just a 50lb spring.
