For $25 I'd do it yearly, I average 13k miles a year.

I'd be curious to know about this vibration thing Nvegas is talking about this harmonic thing.

S2kart,

your results look more like what happened to mine than what Slambo posted.

I will throw the pulley in the CMM tomorrow and then run it in Ansys, see what I get

I agree with archtop, $25 bucks is worth changing it every 6 months. It only takes 10 minutes.

Joaquin

I know Dave you say that the 95 should not matter ... but it does strain it more. The more you spin the more HP that blower requires and therefore strain throgh the system. Now, it should still be whithin the safety factor of the system.
Thanks for your help Joaquin, Lets see your skills...

Juntuned, would you like me to machine you one out of billet aluminum? We will make it solid & thicker. I can also make it out of steel.
A new pulley is in the works, if we have a hard time getting the material then you are my second option. I'll post up some more details when we find out more.

Thanks for offering a hand, We might need your help

this isnt important..... I dont care if cinderella herself pulled off the pulley. The fact is, it came off. I agree with you however that it should not matter how tight the bolts are if the pulley is made from sufficient material! ya know.
