Default P-fab ELR Manifold Fusebox relocation options?

Just looking for some heat shielding / fusebox location / heat wrap or ceramic coating ideas/tips, or even better pics of anyone is running this turbo manifold without putting their fusebox in the fender well? I want to have access to it, and putting it in the fender well just isn't a satisfactory solution for me. I had more money than time when I first had my turbo setup installed, and had a local shop do the install... So to no surprise, and as I probably should have expected, I've noticed some slight issues with heat, and wire insulation and the fusebox lid starting to heat deform so am re-thinking my hot-side engine bay setup.

Currently I'm doing nothing to keep heat from the turbo and downpipe under control, so first step is obviously a turbo blanket & some heat wrap, possibly having the downpipe JET-HOT coated... I'm thinking this along with either a heat shield, similar to the design and placement of the OEM one, a heat shielded box that goes around the fusebox and possibly the Power steering controller as well should be sufficient.

Anyhow, I'm ranting on now Anyone have any pics they can post up of their setup with this manifold and the fusebox still located under the hood on the hotside of the engine bay. Open to any and all suggestions, thanks as always guys!

I've never seen the fuse box under the hood with the pfab elt, but i think the WG would hit it, theres no room.

If its the cash of relocating the Fusebox thats one thing, however if its the fear you will need to swap out fuses, thats not going to be an issue, I have had my car since '04 and 107,000 miles later I have yet to open that Fuse Box, and if I needed to it takes 15 minutes MAX to remove the fender

Totally agreed, fender removal is cake once you've done it the first time. Admittedly, you've gotta have a 10mm wrench handy, but hey I'm much more likely to have that lying around than one of those fuses!

That looks great, how did you get the connectors through there?

I'll let you know in a few weeks, the car's still at the paint shop.
When it get's back we'll figure that out and make some pics.

There are quite of few rights ups over the last 4 or 5 years of different locations and ways of doing it. just do a search for fusebox relocation and they should pop up.
