better keep a close eye on your temp gauge... You more likely clogged up your intercooler fins with that type of paint.

Radiator spray paint works as that it doesn't block the heat exchange that a intercooler is suppose to do...

that's all I''m looking for. To have a blackened (hidden) intercooler without losing the efficiency of it.

yup, Radiator Spray paint comes in Black and doesn't damage your intercooler. Thers a link of the stuff I'm talking about in the first page

no clogs here, i made a slow smooth single pass with the spray, i would hardly consider it damaged

only thing I will say, and it's evident in the last photo, is that it flakes a bit if i hit it too hard with the hose cleaning it off...

full race offers anodizing on them, it cost 100$ when i ordered my kit, call them up and see who they have do the anodizing
