Just a thought, but couldn't you swap your unused ECU (w/ you encoded VIN) into a stock S and got the stock one tested?

You could but the doner car would not start . So you would also have to code the keys to it so you can drive the doner car so it can post its ready codes.

You would still need to pass the $$$ and hope the station will allow you to do so .

The time is now. Every new model since the 03 Accord has the Vin encoded to the PCM. You can bet the AP2 cars are the same.
Yes they are getting the cars ready to do so , just not sure if it is in full effect yet . But yes it is coming

will the engine pull in enough air through the SC when it's not spinning?
Yes you can flow enough to drive the car , I would not suggest racing around like that because it would be some what of a restriction at full throttle .

how did you get a good tune with-out ems? i want to keep the factory managment but it seems like the only way to get the most out of your car is ems (which seems like the only way, why spend $$$ on a kit that isnt performing to its potential)
EMS is not the only solution .

Those that know how to use it will tell you you are never done tuning . WOT is easy to tune , it is the part throttle , cold and hot starts and other little things that you have to play with .Most live with it and others curse it . My tuner as well as a cbender and a few others were the first to use the AEM and debug it problems . Giles has gone as far as redesigning some of the internals in the earlier units .

The AEM EMS was intended to be used for the track and was not designed to be use on the street . So Streetability was not a factor when they designed it . The factory ecu is a very nice peice of work ( That goes for any car )

There are many other options , that will work just as well if not better .

I have one solution in house here that will let you run as much boost as you want , pass emissions and run just like the car was stock . But due to S2ki rules I am not allowed to talk much about it .

E-manage Ultimate just not many people are familiar with it yet . They get it confused with the Blue when they say it is limited . The Blue can only do so much before you max it out due to you can only remove fuel via the MAP signal . Which is not the right way to do it . The Ultimate can do all its adjustment via injector .

And there are also other ways too .

The Emanage I assume would be alright with a supercharger, but would it really be good for turbo setups? The guy piecing together his turbo kit said he wanted to go with emanage and everyone gave him major shit for it.

I think he wanted to get the regular e-manage.
The ultimate is supposed to be a lot better.

^ Is that true? Is the ultimate sufficient enough for turbo?
