Good for you man, I know the feeling inside you had earlier, glad you directed it all into shredding the car apart and getting after it. I bet you're loving how easy that thing comes apart right now, all those little "extras" are well worth it in a time like this

As far as never staying on the clutch, I haven't used my clutch to start the car, nor do I ever sit with the clutch in really (me being OCD), since installing my twin.
The biggest cause for concern not using a clutch stop is thrust washer wear, but it certainly sounds like you had something binding up on you, keep us updated.

thanks bud, yea i just got pretty much everything ready to take the motor and trans out tomorrow morning, went pretty fast actually, hell i have done it enough times, thank god i have off the next two days, this car really sucks sometimes, this was the last thing i expected was to have a trans issue, id like to hear from full blown about this, do they include a stop with the kit? bc i never heard them say anything about that, im gonna wire the clutch so it doesnt have to be depressed when starting, should have done that from the start

It's a known problem with twins needing a stop: ( but seen tons of them work fine without any problem sorry to hear about your problems tho
I also just wired my car ti start without the clutch pressed in very easy fix

I have noticed most people don't use them on the intercooler side. Good luck man. I feel your pain about getting the car running and problem.

Any excess lateral play in the crank?
