how do you know the seals you bought for your blower are not the newer spec seals? if you ended up having some local mechanic do it you'd probably end up with a nightmare afterwards.

i assume you are talking about my former post (deleted because i offered to sell the said item) but that's why i included the part number and size of packings the best i could (not sure what was for the old novi 1000 versus the new novi 1000). i referred the original poster through PM to check out the rebuild threads (one by nightcrawler where he was piecing together a rebuild kit).

UPDATE......I called Todd at S/C Rebuilds and he agreed to do it using my seals/bearings for $225.I must buy that man a drink. Kyushin you made the right call.
