Any comments from webestore on that weird tq curve?Something smells fishy....what would make his turbo set up that much different to have nearly 100 ft.lb. of torque more with the same HP number as we do?
I have a GT Ball Bearing Turbo which spools up much Quicker, and Sooner then some other turbos used. Nothing Fishy when I have the Dyno Chart.

I was expecting more. Granted FI doesn't always work out in a logical or linear manner, but:

200whp (estimate on a stock car). Add 7lbs and gain 100whp (estimate). With 9lbs, or a 29% increase from 7lbs, I would expect a 29% increase from just the pulley. So I would expect 330whp with just the 9lb pulley. But with bigger injectors, exhaust (which does more on FI than NA I believe), ECU upgrade, etc. I would *hope* for even more... I would have thought 350whp would be normal with a setup like that.
I am not dogging your setup at all. I hope to have the same mods as you someday, and now I know to expect "only" 330+/- whp. I am also not saying your car is a bug or anything, because it seems this what everyone or most with a similar setup are getting.
Feel free to correct any of my math or thinking, it's known to be off!

here is my dyno pink being my old tune and the blue being church's tune. i wish i went with the Toda 4-1 headers and a single Amuse R1000 exhaust for better numbers but i gotta admit i love the loudness of my setup. it might be a little too loud around 6000rpm+ but i got used to it VTEC kickin in at 3500RPM makes me almost invincible on the freeway.

that makes me mad. a header and 1psi difference = 35hp. damnit. time for some upgrades. it could be the tune but balanced performance is really really good so I doubt it. Ed tunes about half of the speed world challenge cars. He is track at the alms races also. he tunes 3 of those carreras.

it could be many issues i suppose. 35 hp is a huge difference but i doubt its from the 1 extra psi or the headers. in reality my car is using the 10lb pulley but i am only boosting 8-9psi on the road at full boost. in order for me to reach 10psi i would have to resort to my old setup of the rev limiter at 9200 RPM which is ridiculous by the way. so my conclusion would have to be that something is different in the setup.

I believe that if your exhaust is popping on deceleration, it's from a leak somewhere in the system. It happens when air gets sucked back into the system through the leak.

My exhaust system has no leaks at all and I don't ever hear any popping on deceleration or anything. But my wastegate dump tube will occasionally shoot a flame at high rpm.

They are also different engines... AP2 vs AP1. I am sure those both respond to boost differently. Like comparing apples to oranges?
But dayam 9200rpm redline in AP2 is neat! Did you upgrade the head (retainers, valve springs, etc.)? And 3500 that seems a bit low? On the freeway wouldn't you just downshift and be into Vtec anyway? And after a redline (let alone at 9200rpm) wouldn't you still be in Vtec?

For FI, is the Toda header the way to go??? I know for NA the new J's is supposed to rock the boat, but you have that and you say you wish you went Toda?

my bad. I didn't notice the MY05. with my 9# pulley I actually see 9.2psi at 8800 with rev limit at 9000. not to mention that I am about 1000 ft above sea level.

Are you saying that the Toda header is better then the J's for boost.
Are these actual facts ?

What about the Spearco Front Mount Radiator, did it add up soemthing to the graph ?

Alex - That 1000 elevation is definitely hurting you a little bit. That might even account for another 10whp or so I am guessing?
How did you get your rev limiter to 9k? Did you just adjust with the AEM? Do you have any head work (retainers, springs, etc.).. Just wondering! Good setup if I haven't said so yet!
And Trip - I think most people with Tech2 and Spearco FMR just see cooler temps, not actually any more hp.
