Problems with install
Yeah I bought the kit second hand. It was an older inline pro setup, as the hotside intake pipe does not have the bov port on it. It actually had to me modified a lil bit to fit properly.
Thank you, Ya, for your insight. You were really helpful with my install. I got the turbo and manifold mounted tonight. I ended up just taking the manifold back off the block and attaching the turbo to the manifold. I was then able to get the whole assembly onto the block with the compressor cover off the turbo. Now I am just down to installing the new exhaust, welding the v-band flange on the DP, finish installing the UR oil filter relocation, and tapping in an oil return fitting into the oil pan. If I can ever get a day off work, I am certain I can be done in a day.
And for the record, you DO HAVE TO NOTCH for a 5965 with E cover.

Yeah, I thought you would have to notch. I am having a weird issue when I make right hand turn I am getting a vibration with my kit. I was told that it could be the motor mount (due to the heat of the manifold doing something to it) or the WG tube hitting the frame when the engine torques. Anyone else have this problem?
My turbo also hits the frame just barley that may cause some vibration as well.
I am taking my car back to have it retuned on an AEM EMS and have the vibration issues fixed.

I know my dump tube is really close. Mine recirculates back into the downpipe. With the way I have my compressor cover clocked, I have about an 1/8" clearance from the frame near the outlet. I did this to help keep away from the manifold with the silicone coupler.
If the turbo uses and E Cover, it needs to have the frame rail notched.
The B cover turbos are the only ones to fit.
Revenge,
Check your engine mount. The stock honda ones use the liquid filled style, and they easily tear apart. My stock AP1 01' engine mount was ripped bad. I found this out when I took the stock motor out and put in my high compression NA 2.5 motor.

YA,
Do your dump tubes vibrate up agains the frame underneath?
Also can you develope a bigger WG modification for the inline kit that we could purchase. So we can upgrade the size.
I will check on the Motor mount, Chris who use to work over at inline is doing my build over at ptuning said the same thing. I am going to take it back to have the vibration issue fixed and retune with an AEM. The Greddy Ult is just to inconsistant with the larger injectors.

Yup,
AEM will be good.
There is no need for a bigger wastegate, however turbosmart redesign their 38's to increase their flow capacity. Supposedly their flow is simliar to Tial's 44.
