well for the ppg transmission build, the diff kit and the stroker, i'm lookin around 15k for cost, as each are signature items/kits. but inline is always willing to work with me, cutting me discounts here and there, and throwin in upgrades at no cost (like injectors, etc, given i've spent enough). I should have enough within the next month or two. trust me, and soon as it's done i will have pics galore up.
as for the turbo set up, i'm gona run at least 1200cc injectors, high flow manifold, and either a 6776r, 850r
, or something that competes--im still lookin

hey kirpich, got some elaboration on that point? any input helps. aside from cold weather traction isn't hardly an issue, which was my biggest point of concern given such conditions. now from one light to the next will i be able to use the power? i think not--but then again that's not my style. some track, some roll mostly.
It seems like you guys bought the wrong car to put a 750 hp motor in. It is one of the best handling cars on the road and putting 750 hp in it just seems crazy. It seems like you would have gone with a corvette, mustang or some other high horsepower mucle for straight line power, because if you try to drive that car on a fun curvy road than one little throttle mistake and you are in a ditch. Just my .02.
Good luck though.

You'll be in the very low range of your powerband, where it's not easy to control. You've upgraded your clutch, right? Probably stage 5 level? It gets stiffer with each stage (on average, I know they're all different), so city traffic will be putting a serious cramp on your leg. And you won't be smooth. If you got your girlfriend next to you, unless she's a speed freak, she prolly won't like the constant jerkiness.
So you'll probably end up driving under partial clutch more so than on stock clutch, and that will probably increase the wear on the clutch just a bit.
Unless, of course, you get a dual clutch. It's like what, $2500?

thanks for the ino timg.
yeah its true the ride can be a little more uncomfortable to some, but having driven on a 600whp-capable setup, i think i can handle the rest. the clutch and noise don't bother me at all no matter what the condition and ive been driving in a mix of local city/highway conditions since for more than 6 years. my girl also loves my car, loves to ride in it and tag along when i race.
as for the powerband placement, i beg to differ, although i felt similar sentiment before I got my setup. I'll be running the stroker meaning torque will naturally be higher, as well as a turbo that spools a couple-hundred rpm later than the one I have now. That coupled with inline's tuning I have no doubt will give me exactly what I'm looking for. I have plans with 750whp too...but that's going to be revealed later
