One more odd question for you guys... not sure if you'll be able to answer, but worth a shot...

Is there clearance at the bottom for the compressor housing to be spun 180 degrees, so that the outlet is facing downwards?

My reason for doing this would be so I could change the intercooler piping to run under the cross member instead of over. Just leaves a lot more room in the engine bay for other various things.

Our kit already comes with a 4" intake so there's no need to rotate the compressor outlet

Sorry, I edited my post after realizing that. That space is also already allocated for a catch can and some other things on my car anyways though...

So any idea of the compressor housing has clearance at the bottom to be rotated 180 degrees?

Thanks, that would be great. No, no current pics, sorry. I guess I can move stuff around if need be, that just seems to be the best place for it, and I just worked out a custom mount for it there, so I would really prefer not to if at all possible.

is an electronic boost controller or boost solenoid much better than a manual one? would it smooth out the boost build up on partial throttle? i feel like under partial throttle there are notches when climbing boost and speed

An electronic boost control via an EBC or ECU is the ideal setup but it sounds to me like you might have a tuning issue and not necessarily a boost control issue. With a good tune your partial throttle and full throttle should be smooth and seemless. You might just need to have your tuner to touch up on your partial throttle map.

Just curious or if i missed them, has there been any 91 octane dyno pulls? or on an ap1? 14psi on 93 octane seems to be the limit on stock motors, how much boost would 91 octane limit us people with piss cali gas?

Why is this kit so much more money compared to mase's kit which yields same power pretty much?
