Found this today. I know that it has happened to a few people with this kit. About 3000 miles or less with the kit installed. FYI: I did install a Hasport driver's side motor mount (62A stiffness) about 1000 miles after the the kit was installed.

What is the solution to this problem?

Thanks

*** Customer update, For all those customers who are still in the warranty period for the PTUNING S2k kit. If your tab on the intake has broken off? We will fix them free of charge to you. Shipping is covered by the customer both ways.

For future reference when tightening down your intake tube. Please use the following steps.

>> During re-installation the brackets on both the intake and the engine
>> should be installed first with the supplied hardware. After the
>> intake is in place that is when you tighten down the t-bolt clamp
>> holding the silicone coupler to the intake tube. Next go back and
>> re-tighten the bolt and nut on the brackets. Installing it this way
>> will help prevent the silicone coupler from flexing and twisting.

Thanks Drew. R

Mine never had the tab holding the intake piping and never seemed to be a problem. Unnecessary piece?

BTW, I'm posting here so Drew can lust after my car.
