Congrats to Ptuning for selling your kit design to SoS. Now let those royalties come rolling in while you design new turbo kits that haven't been produced yet.

???

The only thing I did not like was them bashing the oil scavenger pump which I have had zero issues with and like quite frankly. There are some similarities, but there is no need to bash SOS here, especially since you have sold your car and moved on.

I agree with them bashing on the scavenger oil pump.

I have a problem with a company touting their kit as the end all be all, when an almost identical kit was produced 2.5 years ago. The only difference I see is that it uses twin scroll and doesn't provide as high grade of solutions to certain features (i.e. using stock heatshield, only providing an engine mount heat shield instead of a replacement, etc.).

I like companies coming out with new and exciting parts for the s2000. But this is clearly just a "me too" kit.

Doesn't matter if I own an s2000 or not. I support my local businesses that come out with original parts for the s2000.

There are only so many places you can hang a turbo under the same hood.

Does that make AFI, Full Race, Sheepy, Full Blown and any other sidewinder "me 2 kits" also?

Um the last time I looked the SOS was not a sidewinder kit but you make a good point. AFI?? I would not touch that kit with a 10 foot pole. Crappy fitment and zero customer service.

What's wrong with a 'me too' kit? Personally, I like options

I know SOS isn't a sidewinder. He's calling the SOS a me 2 kit cause of the short runner manifold and turbo placement. All the kits I listed have similar placement to each other placing the turbo up front. If the SOS kit is copying the ptuning kit, wouldn't all these be copying each other as well? Like Slows2k said, there are only so many places you can mount a turbo.

Additionally, this is a twin scroll manifold (with paired runners). The PTuning manifold runners all meet at the collector.
