It's the same design but freshly built and welded up. They don't build these one off. They build these kits in batches. This was the first one to check fitment before reproducing the manifolds. All I know is that my original manifold has taken a beating and has never given me any issues.

Now that the manifold has passed quality inspection I am eager to hear the price point for the kit.

Will this manifold fit with the new garrett GTX ver 2 turbos or do you have to use the tial turbine housing?

Yes, Also why not use a Garret housing instead of a Tial housing (just curious)

I'm not sure Garrett had any V band housings out when the kit was first designed, and I think the TiAl housing might be more compact.

I have had the manifold on my car since 2012 and for about 35,000 miles without an issue.

They are roughly the same size. The garrett Housing should be able to mount up to any Tial flanged manifold.

Yep, as Tut said, the Tial housing came out a while before the new GTX ver 2 turbos, and I know the Ptuning manifold was designed for the Tial housing. If the new garrett turbos w/ the v-band housings fit w/ the new ptuning manifold that'd be great.
