some of us like the way a dual looks. thats the only reason why i prefer dual over single. i just dont like the look of a single on this car.

stupid? yes. but its personal preference

and great to hear its really that quiet. the best test is get to around 3200rpm in 6th. top up, run that app and go half throttle. if that bitch hits 100db, its mad drone. if it stays in the 80's thats epic win. even a low low 90 would be nice. i think its every 3 or 6b increase sounds twice as loud.

drone over 100db is annoying over time

noooo no no.. not stupid at all! i prefer the dual look as well! but i had already committed to the single before they decided on the dual

i had swapped to the ap1 bumper ect ect...

The dual is much more quieter than the single.. and i know if the single is quiet... it's close to stockish sounding...

there wasn't drone at all from the single that i can remember...

but maybe we can get an iphone with that db reader and see how it does

I agree! (everything but the stupid part)

3db is where you just notice that it is a bit louder...10db is what is considered as twice as loud. ( http://www.gcaudio.com/resources/howtos/loudness.html )

Ditto to the rest of your statement!

This thing sounds very nice! (per the video)

Unforunately I don't have an iphone. I'm sure someone that works at PTuning probably has one.

I rode in the car in a variety of scenarios (speeds, gears, throttle input) and can say that it didn't drone. I was and am still pumped about the exhaust system. It's very throaty but smooth.

Yep. 10dB is a perceived doubling of volume, 3 dB is an actual doubling of noise...the way the human ear perceives sound makes things such a pain.

any pricing on this yet? also, has it been tested with NA or SC car? turbo setups are always quieter then na and sc setups. turbo is like another muffler.

We'll have pricing information on this exhaust system within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, there are too many variables for us to test right away. I'm sure though that we'll eventually be able to test the exhaust system on NA and SC applications.
