Would you guys happen to have the dyno chart of this 35R?

I want to see the spool difference of the 30R and 35R on this kit.. Maybe an overlay? I know it would make a difference in power at say 17-20 psi but the charts at lower boost will still show a lot.

Kevin,

Unfortunately, the GT35R never received a complete tune as we switched over to the GT30R shortly thereafter. I believe the GT35R reached full boost around 4300-4400 rpms (this is without the benefit of a properly configured EBC solenoid). We

At the boost and hp levels we are trying to achieve with a stock motor running pump gas, the GT35R will not touch the GT30R's overall powerband. However, once you turn up the boost on a low comp built motor using a GT35R, the peak power achievable with the GT35R vs. the GT30R will be very noticeable.

If you're planning on running your built Laskey Motor with our turbo system, I would say go with the GT35R. BTW, we use the .82 A/R exhaust housings on both of our turbos setups.

Would you suggest changing out the HG and headstuds for this kit?

I would suggest keeping the stock head gasket and running low boost on pump gas. Or if you want more power, you can just run higher boost on race gas, E85, or pump gas/WMI. The other option is to just go with low comp drop in pistons and then tune for higher boost.

Well what do you consider low boost VS high boost? On your first page numbers hitting 402 whp at 13 psi (Me coming from an Evo) that is low boost, hell 18 to 20 is low boost to me. Would you say those dyno numbers are achieveable with the stock HG and HS's?

I would consider anything over 12psi on the s2k high boost... Other opinions may vary.

The 402whp we made on a 100% stock motor, at 13psi, with pump gas, and with a proper tune is totally achievable.

I see where you're coming from with the EVO comparison though. Tuned stock-turbo evo 8's and 9's with cams, TBE, fuel pump, and headstuds average about 305-325whp on our dyno running about 23-24 psi on pump gas. Obviously the factory EVO turbos are smaller than the GT30R we are using, but even with a GT30R the F2xC will need less boost to achieve the same hp numbers.

As we all know, the stock cylinder head on the S2000 is freakishly good when compared with other 4 cylinder production car engines. Although our S2000 makes less overall peak torque than a typical BPU EVO, it generates a majority of that torque all the way to redline (usually a higher redline too), hence the much higher peak horsepower.

BTW, we tune and drive EVOs along with a host of other tuner cars too, so we have a large pool of cars to compare with. At the end of the day, we are simply car enthusiasts so we have the same passion and enthusiasm towards all cars that we wrench on or build products for.

With that said though, we'll be releasing some more pictures of our complete system in the next week or two that will seal the deal anyways.

Thanks Toan for the "seal the deal" help.

ive been pming ptuning and they are extremely flexible on taking some parts out of the kit if i don't want them. Im going to be ordering a kit but without turbo and spal fan but adding the dual exhaust and recirc WG piping. Preorder pricing ftw, should be ordering it in the next week or so.

this kit should go good with my soon to be built engine

can't decide if i want the 30r or 35r though. id like the gt35 with 530-550 but i wonder what numbers i could expect with a maxed out gt30r?
