You guys are offering the IC piping powder coated in black, is it possible to do the actual core too?

That would be a bad idea.. (powdercoating the intercooler)
You could however have it anodized.

with Kevin. I doubt any company is powder coating their intercoolers. Some have used "radiator paint", but your best bet is to have it anodized.

Powder coating (which is usually thicker than paint) will decrease its cooling efficiency since the powder will not transfer heat as well.

As time passes I'm sure we'll eventually get around to tuning a set-up like that. I think 500whp with the GT30R and built motor and on pump gas is probably doable on our dyno (won't know till we try though). Now on the right dyno, I'm certain that 500+whp will definitely happen.

If you wanted to try out the FP HTA GT3076R, we would have no problem with switching out the turbo and charging you just the difference. That turbo will definitely give you the extra CFM's you need to reach your target.

On a side note, I'll be rebuilding my '02 S2K over the winter. It will have a built F20C motor and will use either a FP HTA GT3682, FP HTA GT3586, or GT-X turbo - if Garrett releases it by that time. This will allow us to fully test our entire turbo set-up and exhaust system. It'll help provide useful information for those wanting to run a more extreme set-up.

That HTA 3586R idea sounds good to me... Also maybe a 6262.

All I know is that i'm shooting for (I want) 350-400 rwtq on 91 pump. My cars current 275 rwtq is not acceptable and my tires are lasting way too long right now as a result. I need to do something about that.

I stand corrected. i did some searching and a few companies offer powder coating and looks like to only go a few mm deep into the fins.

But I still would (and already have) mine anodized. just my .02

sorry :backtotopic:
