today... January 8th, 2011... I have taken Misha home.

well.. to the paint shop for the kit to be put on, BUT STILL.

I wanted to give thanks to Ptuning for allowing this to happen. To be apart of something so special and meaningful is truly an honor and a once in a lifetime thing that not many people will get to experience.

The friendship will always oversee the kit any day of the week. It's truly amazing how car parts, or car's period bring folks together. It's been a long journey but the return in the end was worth the 1+year wait by ten fold.

I just stood there staring at the kit on my car and i know from this day on, everytime I even so take a glance at Misha, I will always remember and know how truly lucky I am.

Again, Thank you Ptuning for this masterpiece and the honor of being apart of this.

I raised a whore lol..

It's gonna be at the paint shop for about a month or two.

But after the turbo kit, 1-2 months isn't nothing LOL...besides its still winter so no biggie.

That and putting on an amuse widebody and doing the work is gonna take a min when he's doing it on his off time.

I'm glad patience is one of my virtues

BTW...Ap1 wheels with summer tires in 25 degree weather with this much power is NO BUENO.. I was freaking out...seriously lol...I haven't driven an s2000 for a year minus one time so I was def not used to it...with this power nonetheless..

But let me just say, in 6th gear from 50mph, rolling on the throttle slightly i was at 80mph quickly lol.

The power definetly does take some time to get used to. If I give my tires a good amount of time to warm up the power is manageable to get on. Summer will bring more traction.

Alan, are you at least driving the car for a week to enjoy it before the body shop? Or right under the knife it goes?

I know exactly what you're saying. The night I picked my car up the streets were wet from rain all day. Anytime I got on it I was greeted with wheelspin. I remember thinking that it was going to be awhile before I was going to finess it enough to put the power down. Didn't actually take long once I was on dry road.

I have the KW V3, which are excellent for someone that tracks their car and street drives it. In fact on the street settings it rides more comfortably than the stock suspension did.

For someone such as yourself that doesn't track I would recommend the Bilstein PSS9. They'll cost a little more than the buddyclub but will ride much smoother IMHO.
