Looks nice, I like the tying together of the front and rear mounting points.

Full blown motorsports is a big name and the original to make the 8.8 kit for our cars. If you are super cheaper may be interested, if not Full blown gets my business.

Fbm kit needs the steel case because the front mount puts a twisting force on the front mounts that the case is not designed to handle. This is far stronger and lighter. Ive got 2 cases here from fbm kits that are busted. Our kit won't break because the patented cradle eliminates that twisting force. The transfer of load follows the path ford designed the case to handle as well as transferring those loads to the s2000 bushings in the same manner those were designed for.

Nice you have ap1 or ap2 trans? Just be carful launching it went the track on Saturday broke an axle first diff blew then went with Puddymod 3.9 now axle broke replaced it today it's good now I really want the 8.8 5.9 kit but then my trans will be the weak link it never ends lol
Goes to show the puddymod is not for my 700rwhp goals. I made my decision and just ordered my full blown 8.8 indestructible rear end
nice keeping stock trans?

No. Spoke to g force about the t56 so I can use my science of speed twin disc carbon clutch along with stock bell housing adapted t9 the g force t56 trans.
great choice.

what is that g force t56 going to run you?
You don't wanna know lol... $7,800
7800 is a ton for a t56. Im assuming the t56 from g-force has the straight cut gears? If you do a normal LS1 t56, and have liberty face plate it (same place that face plates g-force i believe), custom bell housing, and clutch...you can have the entire swap, for around 4500. Thats done, driving down the road. Still dog gears 1-4, just not straight cut gears, which you dont need at all in the s2000...people run 1000+hp camaros with the stock gears, and face plated all day long.

My entire t56, face plated, bell housing, clutch was about $4700. And i have a guy who is currently in the process of making a stock s2000 bell housing, with t56 mating, so you can use s2000 clutches (with ls1 splines on the disc). These will be cast, instead of the plate welded on, like g-force does. It will be a one piece housing, where everything looks stock.

Understandable bro, but nothing is like dog teeth point, blank period. Pay to play.

Thats for dog box, thats what the face plate is. gears 1-4 dont use synchros. this is my transmission:

Beautiful, but gforce tranny is rated 1500 to 1900hp. True race trans. Good option though if your on a budget.

I guess im a little confused -- where does the G-Force t56 handle 1900 hp? The upgrade kit (the only thing, that atleast their website shows, for being t56, is rated for 1200 hp. put a Viper Mainshaft in the t56 i have, which is about 300 dollars more, and it would handle that too. My point is, for the price you are going to spend on a t56, you could buy the GSR, that is actually purpose built, ground up, as a race transmission. Hence, me, personally, would rather spend 5000 on a very capable transmission, than spend 2000 dollars more, for a slightly better one, when with that kind of cash, you can buy an actual purpose built race transmission. I also dont like wasting my money, so maybe thats why

I'm going t56 gforce due to the fact that I am a street/strip user. My car is not a full drag car. I wanna run 9.8 sec and drive home on M/T DRAG RADIALS and be able to use 5th and 6th gear on freeway (synchro). All done in one shop adapter bell housing etc.

So why is this unit lighter and stronger than full blown kit? Full blown has been out for years and like I said they are on some of the fastest s2ks in the world! How long has your kit been out? How many ginnie pigs have tried out this unit of yours? Full blown is a very reputable shop. I haven't heard of your product or shop. What is the price? If I do decide to go with your rear what is the warranty? (I know race products aren't a warranty items, but there is nothing really known about your rear? Can anyone vouch for this rear end Carey?
