Try amsoil transmission fluid. I have the same clutch and it feels fine.

Nice you have ap1 or ap2 trans? Just be carful launching it went the track on Saturday broke an axle first diff blew then went with Puddymod 3.9 now axle broke replaced it today it's good now I really want the 8.8 5.9 kit but then my trans will be the weak link it never ends lol
Goes to show the puddymod is not for my 700rwhp goals. I made my decision and just ordered my full blown 8.8 indestructible rear end
Nothing is "indestructible". A few people have broken 8.8's.

The big shops don't share what have broken. They just run new stuff and make better numbers. These shops have reported that they have broken multiple V160's and 8.8s haha.

No offense to whoever broke there 8.8 rear end, but you obviously don't know how to launch (feathering the clutch is they key my friends) puddymod and LJ from full blown motorsports stated "If you don't know how to launch properly, you will breakno matter what rear your running". If your gonna spend over 12k on transmission and rear, better get some knowledge how to jump off the line safely.

Yeah, People that break there 8.8 rear probably make a lot of money and probably get there rear ends free through sponsors if they are big name shops. Me personally work hard for my dollar so if I'm spending $3500 on a fb 8.8 I'm not gonna be revving to 9k rpm and dumping the clutch every chance I get. I am going to baby my pride and joy, but once I line up next to a z06, I'm going all out to tear that vette a new a$$ h#!e. Just gotta know how to launch properly.

This is so inaccurate. It doesn't matter if you feather or not, 1000whp+ is going to break shit at some point. You saying that these shops running 7s and 8s don't know how to launch? That's how it sounds.

I dunno why everyone jocks stock 8.8s so hard...I remember when the 03 Cobra came out...and seeing a dozen of them nuke their rear-ends at the dragstrip with like a pulley.

So between, a Supra Trans...or a fully tricked out T56 (Which still might not shift at 10k)...and goin the 8.8" route...yo, thats some serious coinage. Real talk you need a fully built 8.8, with axles...and the done trans...

That's like 15k+...you better be 1200whp.

Im still convinced the 600-700whp peeps could rock with a puddy diff and treated stock gears by racerstev...thats mid 9s all day.

I think that because the s2k is rwd, the R&D never went into getting the stock trans to work...because its easier to swap a trans in a rwd.

The R&D went into the fwd stuff because there was no better option...alot of the same peeps into the s2k now cus it cheap are/were oldschool honda dudes.

Realistically, if people are trying to go fast...you go built TH350 Auto with lightweight internals...and the built 8.8....way cheaper, and stock block cars would be running deep 9s/high 8s.
