puddymod or ford 8.8
My kit wont do this

Here's some mad jdm photoshop that shows why ... the other kit creates a twisting point at the front mounts due to forces applied to the housing when under acceleration. The blue circles below represent where the mounts are fixed on the car, the red square is the mount, black shape is the diff. When the diff is pushed up by acceleration the 2 things want to separate. This separation simply twists the front mounts off. You could use the heavy ass iron t-bird housing but you'll only bend the housing instead of breaking. we use a different, much stronger housing and the front mount is tied to the rear mount which totally eliminates the twisting forces.

We'll have an "official" thread on the kit next week, testing is nearly complete.
Also keep in mind that I had a ford 8.8 in my car long before anyone else had a kit. I originally went the same route they did, I broke everything and quickly realized that it was a bad design

Fbm kit needs the steel case because the front mount puts a twisting force on the front mounts that the case is not designed to handle. This is far stronger and lighter. Ive got 2 cases here from fbm kits that are busted. Our kit won't break because the patented cradle eliminates that twisting force. The transfer of load follows the path ford designed the case to handle as well as transferring those loads to the s2000 bushings in the same manner those were designed for.

Yeah, inline pro also recommend there thicker head gaskets, but everyone knows that is a horrible idea. I'm sure everyone here on this thread would agree. Inline pro I believe run the r200? I'm not sure though.

Nice you have ap1 or ap2 trans? Just be carful launching it went the track on Saturday broke an axle first diff blew then went with Puddymod 3.9 now axle broke replaced it today it's good now I really want the 8.8 5.9 kit but then my trans will be the weak link it never ends lol

No. Spoke to g force about the t56 so I can use my science of speed twin disc carbon clutch along with stock bell housing adapted t9 the g force t56 trans.
great choice.
what is that g force t56 going to run you?
You don't wanna know lol... $7,800
7800 is a ton for a t56. Im assuming the t56 from g-force has the straight cut gears? If you do a normal LS1 t56, and have liberty face plate it (same place that face plates g-force i believe), custom bell housing, and clutch...you can have the entire swap, for around 4500. Thats done, driving down the road. Still dog gears 1-4, just not straight cut gears, which you dont need at all in the s2000...people run 1000+hp camaros with the stock gears, and face plated all day long.
My entire t56, face plated, bell housing, clutch was about $4700. And i have a guy who is currently in the process of making a stock s2000 bell housing, with t56 mating, so you can use s2000 clutches (with ls1 splines on the disc). These will be cast, instead of the plate welded on, like g-force does. It will be a one piece housing, where everything looks stock.

where can u find this cast housing you speak of? in need of it

To be clear, you can run thicker head gaskets IF it is appropriate for your build. A thicker head gasket is only a cheaper way to lower compression for more boost. Not a horrible idea, just not as efficient long term as getting better rods and lower compression pistons. Back to the topic, InlinePro uses the R200 and they have a totally different kit than the Ford 8.8 kit. Also, Puddymod has more options than the stage 2 you originally requested more information about...PM him or post in his diff thread.
