Default Questions on a few details about boosting a 2006

I recently purchased a used turbo kit that includes what I believe to be "most" of the things I will need to get my car up and running on wastegate boost (to start), but I have a few remaining questions on some of the minor details based on my research. Any input is appreciated.

1. What is the true limit of the stock MAP sensor on a 2006? How much boost can I run before I need to upgrade this to an aftermarket 3- or 4-bar sensor? I have commonly seen this answered as 8, 10, and 12psi so I don't know which number is accurate.

2. The kit includes ID1000s, so where is the next limitation in the stock 2006 fuel setup? I know a return-style fuel system is required at a certain power level, but does that point come before or after the need to upgrade the fuel pump? (If the return-style is required before the point that I'd need a new fuel pump, I'm staying stock on both fronts and keeping the power below that limitation to start)

3. Is the stock 2006 wideband sufficient for tuning A/F ratio? If not, what is the best aftermarket solution that I should look into?

4. Monitoring: what sort of setup should I go for? The kit comes with AEM boost and A/F gauges, and a pillar pod. I also recently read that newer FlashPros have Bluetooth that can pipe live data to a smartphone, so I could theoretically always see my stock wideband O2 readout and anything else from the FlashPro. Should I consider oil pressure, fuel pressure, or anything else?

Thanks!

1) I think it's around 10.5psi. If you're planning on going over 10psi at all I would go with a 3-4 bar.

2) I've heard mixed opinions whether an aftermarket fuel pump does anything for DBW cars. I'm having the same dilemma, so am curious to hear other opinions. I may just wire my factory pump directly to the battery with a relay for my ~400whp goals (supercharged though).

3) The DBW cars do have a factory wideband but from what I've read the resolution isn't the best. I think most people recommend going with a standalone wideband regardless. Most people seem to be happy with AEM or PLX widebands (I think both use Bosch sensors).

4) Flashpros can datalog, but not through bluetooth. You're thinking of two separate things. An app such as Torque allows you to monitor most sensors on your phone using a bluetooth dongle that plugs into your OBD port, but I'm not sure if they datalog at all. I bought a cheap adapter off of ebay for ~$14 and the Torque app is ~$5, so it's not expensive just to play around with but it doesn't do anything that flashpro does.

You can datalog with just the flashpro box connected to your OBD port, but to view anything in real-time you need a laptop connected to flashpro. If you just use the flashpro box to record, the datalogs are saved and can be viewed on a PC after, but there's no real-time visibility.

Thanks for the response!

So you're just running the stock fuel pump right now? What about injectors? I think with my meager initial power goal (which will be whatever I get @ wastegate boost, so probably high 200s-low 300s to the wheel) I should be more than fine with the stock fuel pump on ID1000s, but I'm also curious just how far that setup can take me in the future. I don't imagine wanting much more than 350-375whp, but then I know how the mod bug is, so who knows...

As far as the FlashPro bluetooth/phone thing goes, it sounds to me like it does support live monitoring to a phone. It's really new and I have not read much about it yet, but based on their site it seems like it does just that:

If I really can do live monitoring, then I'm going to certainly invest in a somewhat permanent mount for my phone so I can always utilize that feature. Much nicer than having to hack up the car for even more gauges, and definitely more cost-effective!

My kit is still sitting under my desk at work (I've been slowly piecing it together over the last few months and realistically won't have it installed until at least the summer) so I'm not sure what the limit of the factory pump is.

And wow, I didn't know that newer flashpros supported bluetooth. I stand corrected... This makes the deal I got on a used one seem like much less of a deal . That looks pretty cool assuming it works well.

Luckily it's "only" $150 to get an old one reconfigured with bluetooth functionality directly from Hondata. Better than having to buy a whole new one!
